Fox Hill Super Cross Races will be held in Diyatalawa on 16th and 17th April 2010 for the 18th year. Sports enthusiasts will be able to watch 13 motor car events and 17 motorcycle races announced Brigadier Ruwan Kulathunga.

Indian motorcycle Champion will be competing in the Fox Hill Super Cross. Top motor cycle riders of the island will be in action. So fans can be assured of thrill and excitement the Brigadier stressed.
The Fox Hill Super Cross is the single biggest sports event in Sri Lanka said Mr. Rodney Messer, Chairman, Sri Lanka Assn. of Racing Drivers and Riders.
Mr. Pandula Weerasinghe, General Manager, Browns Co.Ltd. said Fox Hill Super Cross is the best organized sports event that attracts tens of thousands of sports fans. The funds raised have been utilised to develop the SLMA.

Fox Hill Super Cross which was originated 17 years ago has been a source of funds utilised to uplift the standards of the institution. The SLMA is grateful to the sponsors because most of the facilities the trainees enjoy today have been materialized through funding obtained through Fox Hill Super Cross event - language laboratory. Computer laboratory, swimming pool and gymnasium. Some of the projects to be implemented in the future, are a new auditorium, renovation of the museum, a modern library, a well - equipped classroom complex, upgrading Viuru Kekulu pre-school and billeting facilities.
The Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Rides works hand in hand with the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) to ensure the successful conduct of races each year.
The Fox Hill track, built to international standards nestles amidst a vast pine plantation on a mountainous terrain. It is unique and is the fastest in the island with track distance of two kilometers. The track affords the spectators a full view of ninety percent of action and excitement.
For the last 17 years Fox Hill Super Cross has earned the reputation of the most thrilling racing event. The SLMA owes its gratitude to the sponsor, drivers, riders and sports fans and the media.
The SLMA is the prestigious military training institution located in the picturesque garrison town of Diyatalawa which is totally committed to train young Officer Cadets who give junior leadership to the warfront. A Bachelou's Degree in Military Science has been introduced in collaboration with the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka to make them fully - fledged military professionals.
