Forthcoming ‘Ranaviru Miyesi Harasara’ Receives a Boost

Ladies in the Army Seva Vanitha Unit (ASVU) who are organizing the year’s grand musical fund-raiser, ‘Ranaviru Miyesi Harasara’ on 3 July at Nelum Pokuna Theatre, received a boost when the CEAT Kelani International Tyres (Pvt) Ltd offered a monetary contribution of Rs 1 m for arrangements in the entertaining programme.

Mr Ravi Dadlani, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Sports, CEAT Kelani International Tyres (Pvt) Ltd met Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva, Commander of the Army at the Army Headquarters this afternoon (16) and presented the cheque to that value as a helping hand towards the cost of the entire project.

‘Ranaviru Miyesi Harasara’ musical show that attracts a group of most popular vocalists in the singing industry aims to collect proceeds with the intention of strengthening the ASVU coffers which is dedicated to the service of disable War Heroes, family members of fallen War Heroes and those still serving the Army.

Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva after accepting the cheque from Mr Dadlani thanked him for his gesture which would very much relieve event organizers as the event costs very much. Mrs Nayana De Silva, President, ASVU who was also present at the occasion extended her organization’s gratitude to the donors.
