Former Cricketer Provides Dry Ration Packs for Distribution among Needy Families in Weherathenna

Troops of the 623 Brigade of the 62 Division HQ of the Security Force HQ-Wanni on Monday (20) assisted the distribution of dry ration packs among 300 Families, residing in remote areas of Weherathenna in the Mullaittivu district. The sponsorship for those supplies was extended to the troops by the former cricketer Mr Roshan Mahanama and his foundation at the request of the 623 Brigade Commander.

This programme was organized by the 623 Brigade Commander on the guidelines given by the General Officer Commanding 62 Division, Major General Dhammika Jayasinghe and Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri, Commander Security Forces - Wanni.
