A group of 10 foreign Student Officers undergoing training at the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Sapugaskanda along with their family members during an excursion arrived in Mullaittivu area on Tuesday (7 November).
At first, the team reached the War Heroes’ monument in Mullaittivu and paid their respect before visiting the 68 Infantry Division and other places of attraction in Mullaittivu town and suburbs.
Major General S Kasthurimudali RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding, 68 Infantry Division warmly welcomed the group at the Division premises on behalf of Major General M.K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu.
During the familiarization to the group visited places of interest before all of them were presented with appreciative mementoes.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the 68 Infantry Division took part in the event. The Student Officers represented India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, etc.
