First Battalion Training Course 2024 at 51 Infantry Division Concludes Successfully

The first battalion training course for the year 2024, conducted by the 51 Infantry Division of Security Forces - Jaffna, was held at the Mulankavil Battalion Training School from 20 March 2024 to 11 May 2024. Ten Officers and 360 Other Ranks from the 9 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry participated in the course.

The closing remarks was delivered by Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding of 51 Infantry Division. During the Certificates Awarding Ceremony held on 11 May 2024 trophies were presented to the following Officers and Other Ranks:

All-round best Officer - Major M.N.R Nissanka

All-round best Soldier - Sergeant K.M.R.A.K Jayawardena

Best Shooter - Lance Corporal W.S.D Kumara

Best Physical - Lance Corporal R.M.S Kumara

Best Team - C Company

Best Platoon - 1 Platoon of C Company

Best presentation - A Company
