The Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) held a farewell ceremony for retiring Major General D.A. Amarasekara USP on 22 February 2024.
The proceedings commenced with a warm welcome extended to Major General D.A Amarasekara USP by the Centre Commandant, Colonel D.A Sirimannage. Following this, he was accorded a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour.
In the evening, the customary dinner night was held at the SLEME Regimental Headquarters Officers' Mess. Retiring Major General D.A. Amarasekara USP was presented with a commemorative memento by the Deputy Chief of Staff and Colonel Commandant of Corps of SLEME, Major General S.P.A.I.M.B Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc. Senior Officers, Officers and their spouses participated in the occasion.
