Families of SFHQ-J Officers Visit Jaffna

Several families of officers serving the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) had a rare opportunity to visit the Jaffna peninsula during 05-07 December.

The visit was organized under the directions of Major General Nandana Udawatte, Commander, SFHQ-J, under the programme “Sebalekuta Saviyak”, which was initiated on a concept of the Commander of the Army as a welfare measure for officers and other ranks.

A total of 39 families (38 Army and 1 Navy) participated in the visit where they turned Nagadeepa, Nallur Temple, Jaffna Museum, Dutch Fort and Kaduruwela Archaeological sites.
