A special eye clinic, meant for civilians living in Asikulam area in Vavuniya, examined more than 500 patients and provided spectacles to the needy.
The office of the Civil Affairs under 211 Brigade Headquarters area coordinated the project with the patronage received from Kelaniya Rotary Club and a group of Canadian donors. Over 250 spectacles were distributed free of charge among those who got their eye sights examined during this camp.
