Ex-Servicemen Appreciate Defence Adviser's Tenure in High Commission of Sri Lanka in UK

UK-based Sri Lanka Ex-Service Persons Association (SLESPA-UK) recently extended felicities to the Defence Adviser of the High Commission of Sri Lanka in London, Brigadier Swarna Bothota on the eve of the completion of his tenure in the High Commission of Sri Lanka. HE the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka Saroja Sirisena was also present at the occasion where the SLESPA-UK offered a donation of accessories towards further improvement of the services, being provided by the Army Disaster Response Teams in Sri Lanka.

President SLESPA Lieutenant Commander (Rtd) Kapila de Alwis, Vice President Major (Rtd) Selva Sathanandan and a few members attended the occasion where Brigadier Bothota's service during his office in London was hailed and appreciated before he was awarded a special memento towards the end of the brief occasion. The outgoing Defence Adviser thanked the SLESPA for their thoughtfulness and felicitation and wished best of luck for the Association and its future roles towards the betterment of the country.
