An environmental protection campaign was initiated with the aim of boosting public awareness by the troops of the 53 Division in cooperation with cooperated with Kelani Cables (Pvt) Ltd, Divisional Secretariat and the Road Development Authority at Dambulla.
Seven colourful awareness boards were displayed alongside the A-6 route in Habarana jungle area. This event was coordinated by Major General M.A.M Dias, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 53 Division.
