Engineer Services Troops Undertake One More Presidential Project in Galle

12 (V) Corps of Engineer Services (CES) following the Presidential directive given in March this year during the '14th Gama Samaga Pilisandarak' project of the 'Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour' (Saubhagye Dekma) National Policy framework began construction of the 624 ft long sidewall around the playground and the 411 ft long chain link fence in the Galagoda Colony Junior School at Galagoda in Galle District a few days ago.

The project to be completed at a cost of Rs 8.7 m, granted by the government is to be benefited largely due to supply of Army technical expertise and manpower.

Under the supervision of the Chief Field Engineer, Major General Nihal Amarasekara and the General Officer Commanding of the Engineer Division, Major General Chandana Wijesundara, the project will be brought to completion in a couple of months.
