Engineer Officers and Other Ranks adorned with Qualification Badges

The Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers hosted a ceremony to recognize and honor 56 Officers and 87 Other Ranks who successfully completed skill-developing courses on 30 April 2024. These courses included the Officers’ Bomb and Improvised Explosive Devices Disposal Course (BIEDD) 1/2024, BIEDD Course No. 07 (Other Ranks), Officers’ Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Response (CBRN) Course 1/2024, Officers' Humanitarian Demining Management Course 1/2024, and Humanitarian Demining Basic Course No. 44 (Other Ranks).

Major General M.K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Members of the Regimental Council, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.

The following Officers and Other Ranks secured the First in Order of Merit in their respective courses:

Sapper S.A.P Lahiru – Humanitarian Demining Basic Course No. 44 (Other Ranks)
