Members of the Army serving the 122 Brigade of the 12 Division under the Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) were among many civilians who attended a rehearsal on ‘Emergency Safety Measures in times of Disasters’, organized by the Disaster Management Centre at Debarawewa Base Hospital in coordination with the Tissamaharama Divisional Secretariat.
The rehearsing programme that continued till mid-noon was attended by a large number of state officials working in government institutions in the area and several community leaders. Sixteen Army personnel representing the 122 Brigade Headquarters participated in the training exercise.
