Ekgaloya Primary School Receives School Accessories thru 24 Infantry Division

63 students at Ekgaloya Primary School in Ampara were the recipients of packs of school accessories on Wednesday (13 Dec) thanks to an initiative taken by the 24 Infantry Division HQ in Ampara.

Mr A. Sunil, Chairman and Managing Director of S.N Micro Credit Pvt Ltd and his spouse, Mrs Chandani Shreenikethi provided required sponsorship for purchase of those essentials to all those students. Each pack, consisted of stationery, pens and pencils, CR and exercise books, printed maps, reading books and supplementary reading materials was worth Rs 10,000/=.

The project, one more civil community-oriented event benefited students of low-income group families in the area.

Major General W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division as the Chief Guest, together with donors attended the distribution ceremony, held at the school premises.

Major General A.S Ariyasinghe (Rtd) RWP RSP USP ndu attended the occasion along with sponsors, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, principal, teachers and a few parents also took part in the event.
