East Troops Educated on Beekeeping

23 Infantry Division troops of the Security Force HQ -East (SFHQ - E) organized a two-day workshop on ' Beekeeping' during Feb 21-22 in the open air at the Battalion Training School in Punani.

This was initiated by Major General Shewanth Kulatunge, General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division under the guidance of Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi, Commander, SF - E.

Mr Tissa Bandara Thambavita, Secretary of the ‘Bingu Resource Protection Organization’ and Mr Nuwan Keerthi, Technician of the ‘Bingu Resource Protection Organization’ conducted the programme.

Troops of the 23 Infantry Division, 3 Mechanized Infantry Regiment, 1 Commando Regiment, and 2 Sri Lanka Service Corps participated in the workshop.
