In response to a request made by Ven. Dewagala Hemanthalankara Thero, Chief Incumbent of Bandanagala Sri Subhadrarama temple Dimbulagala to the Commander Security Forces- East, 2 (V) Sri Lanka Signal Corps troops provided their assistance to complete the paintings around the Pagoda, cloud shaped dyke perimeter surrounding the perimeter, Shrine Hall, Bodhi perimeter and the construction of the campanile on the directions and guidance of Major General Channa Weerasuriya, Commander Security Forces- East.
The Chief Incumbent invoked merits on the Commander, SF-East and all who got involved in this worthy cause, including troops of 2 (V) SLSC in order to make the temple premises more colourful and complete.
