East-Based Troops Distribute Cashew Plants Sponsored by ‘Dilmah’ Conservation

Security Force Headquarters-East (SFHQ-E) recently distributed 1500 cashew nut saplings, provided thanks to the sponsorship of ‘Dilmah’ Conservation among members of the rural community under the supervision of Colonel S.J Priyadarshana, Brigade Commander (Overlooking), 233 Brigade at Vakarei.

Distribution of those plants took place at Vakarei Divisional Secretariat office for the benefit of villagers.

Officials of the ‘Dilmah’ Conservation, government officials, 19 Army personnel of the 233 Brigade and villagers participated in the event.
