DSCSC Student Officers Witness Demo on Administrative Scope at FMA

A group of Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) student officers at Sapugaskanda reading for Passed Staff College (psc) degree Course No 15 were at Forward Maintenance Area (FMA) HQ – East area in Paluwewa, Hingurakgoda in order to learn about a mock demonstration, held related to the Divisional Administrative Area work scope on Saturday (15).

This demonstration was organized by the FMA East on the directions of Major General Mahesh Abeyrathna, Commander FMA East, together with staff officers at the FMA office and Commanding Officers in under command Battalions.

This demonstration was witnessed by local officers and foreign officers, representing the United States, Saudi Arabia, Ruwanda, Senegal, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Nepal & Pakistan.

The students were educated on factors to be considered for selection of Division Administration Area (DAA) ,introduction of charge room and how to handle Prisoners of War (POW),Casually Evacuation and first Aid, postal and currier procedures, ration procedures, Corp of Engineer services Procedure, Ordinance Procedure and recovery procedure during this Demonstration.

DSCSC Commandant, Major General Nishantha Herath and a few Senior DSCSC Officers attended the demonstration, adhering to health guidelines.
