Major General Lasantha Rodrigo, the most recently-appointed Commandant at Defence Services Command and Staff Collage (DSCSC) at Sapugaskanda on Wednesday (29) paid courtesies to Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage, Commander of the Army at the Commander’s office in the Army Headquarters.
The focus of the discussion centred on the DSCSC course curriculum, future projections, administrative and functional matters, related issues and the status quo of the College. Major General Lasantha Rodrigo extending compliments to the Commander of the Army assured him of his best services to the DSCSC which is reputed as the best academic wing for tri service personnel and its smooth conduct of affairs mustering the best support of tri service personnel and the Ministry of Defence.
Towards the culmination of the cordial interaction, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage wished him good luck with his future endeavours and wanted him to do his best for elevation of the DSCSC standards further as it attracts foreign student officers as well. Major General Lasantha Rodrigo presented a memento of goodwill and memory to the Army Chief at the end of the brief meeting.
