Dry food packets, ready-made garments and clothes were donated among 200 needy families in Mullaittivu area on Wednesday (22) at Kokilai Rajamaha Viharaya.
It was organized by the troops of the 4 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (4 SLLI) serving under the 592 Brigade in the 59 Division under the supervision of Major General P.U.S Vithanage, Commander, Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT). Kelaniya Gurukula Mithuru Sansandaya contributed to the charity.
Major General P.U.S Vithanage, Commander, SFHQ-MLT graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, members of the Gurukula Mithuru Sansandaya, General Officer Commanding, 59 Division, senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
