DPA Organizes Workshop for Compering Training

The Directorate of Personnel Administration with the aim of enhancing compering skills of the soldiers organized a ‘Compering Workshop’ for 30 selected troops, drawn from various regiments at the Army Headquarters.

Accordingly, the Course started on 7 August and commenced on 21 August. Mrs. Thushari Welagedara, renowned instructor at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Training Center, Ms. Wasana Lakmali, compere at Ministry of Defence and Sirasa TV, Brigadier K.A.U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG, Director of the Directorate of Personnel Administration and Officers of the Chief Signal Office conducted the lectures.

After the end of the course on 21 August, the certificates were awarded to the attendees at the ‘Compere Workshop’. Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, Adjutant General joined to distribute certificates.
