‘Limited Brands Mast Cares Team USA – Buying Office in Colombo, Mast Industries (Far East) Limited’ at the request of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) came forward to gift 110 bicycles to needy students in the peninsula on the eve of the forthcoming ‘Thaipongal’ spirits during a ceremony at the SFHQ-J premises on Wednesday (8).
Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya, Commander, Security Forces – Jaffna (SF-J) as the Chief Guest, together with Ms Diyana Cramer, Senior Administrator - Support Operations of Mast Industries (Far East) Limited – Sri Lanka programme and a few more representatives were there to hand over those free gifts to those children.
Chief Kurukkal of the Sri Kandaswamy Temple at Maviddapuram, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area (North), General Officer Commanding, 55 Division, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, Senior Officers, members of Mast Industries (Far East) Limited – Sri Lanka, Officials of Sarvodaya – Jaffna Branch, troops, school children, teachers and parents were present during the donation ceremony.
