233 BRIGADE troops with the assistance of Sampath Bank, Ampara Branch organized a donation of school uniforms and books to students in the area under Army’s social welfare project.
The event took place on 8th November 2009 in Kiddumuruvilkulam village, Ampara with the participation of the officials of the Sampath Bank. About one hundred selected students were provided school uniforms, shoes and school books on that day.

In addition, four medical officers from Ampara and Vakarai hospitals conducted a medical clinic also in the same village, the same day.
