Donation of Sports Equipment and Football Match at Batticaloa

A programme to donate essential sports equipment to football teams in the Batticaloa area was held at Weber Football Ground, Batticaloa, on 27 August 2024 followed by a football match.

The sports equipment was donated with the coordination of 7 Gemunu Watch, under the guidance of Colonel B.S.D Bulathgama, Commandant of the Punani Regional Ordnance Depot Complex, with sponsorship from Lance Gibbons, Dani Macdonell, and Lord Steven Richardson of Liverpool, England.

Major General S.A. Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander of Security Forces (East), graced the event as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the event.
