Donation of School Items for Students at Pooneryn Maduvilnadu Primary School

Consequent to a sponsorship provided by a Southern donor, troops of the 24 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) assisted and coordinated the donation of a consignment of school accessories to 18 students at Maduwinadu Government Tamil Mixed School in Pooneryn on Monday (24).

Mr Rathnasena Kudaligama on behalf of the ‘83 Batch’ at Pannipitiya Dharmapala Vidyalaya represented the sponsorship. It was done at the request of the General Officer Commanding of the 66 Infantry Division, Major General M.D Wijesundara.
