Disable Civilians to Receive Artificial Limbs

24 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) under Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) distributed artificial limbs to disabled civilians during a ceremony, held on Saturday (16).

Artificial limbs worth of Rs. 250,000/= were sponsored by the ‘Center for Handicap’ of Kandy.

Brigadier M.A.M Dias, General Officer Commanding 54 Division, Mr Shantha Sisira Kumara, of ‘Center for Handicap’, relatives of the recipients and villagers attended the occasion.
