The Directorate of Media and Psychological Operations hosted the 'Psychological Workshop – 2024/1' at the School of Signals, Buwelikada from 26 February to 01 March 2024, with the participation of 37 Officers from various Regiments in the Army.
The workshop delved into a spectrum of crucial subjects including Introduction to Psychology, Target Audience Analysis, Psychology Operation Product Development, Propaganda Analysis and Counter-Propaganda, Cultural Strategic Impact on Psychological Operations, Utilization of Emotional Intelligence and the Influence of Social Media and Social Behavior on Psychological Operations.
Led by Officers and intellectuals in the field, the lectures provided invaluable insights to the participants. The Directorate of Media and Psychological Operations meticulously organized the event, ensuring its success.
The culminating moment arrived on 01 March 2024 with the closing ceremony held at the School of Signals, Buwelikada. The event was graced by Major General K.A.N Rasika Kumara ndc psc, Director General of the Directorate of Media and Psychological Operations, as the Chief Guest.
