Director Veteran Affairs Meets Ranaviru Organization Officials in SF-Central Area

Brigadier D.C.C.D.R Waidyasekara RSP, Director, Directorate of Veteran Affairs recently had a discussion with the Ranaviru Organization officials in Matale and Kandy Districts operating in the Security Force HQ - Central area after inviting them to the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment camp in Kandy.

During the meeting, matters related to the family members of fallen War Heroes, retired Army personnel and their families were taken up for review and discussion. In addition, future goals and objectives of Ranaviru organizations were presented to the gathering by the respective officials.

Meanwhile, the Director, Directorate of Veteran Affairs had a look at the land in Digampathana, Dambulla that has been kept reserved for allocation to the families of fallen War Heroes and injured War Heroes during the humanitarian operations.

These Ranaviru Organizations are currently functional at district levels, aimed at providing maximum possible welfare assistance to War Hero families.
