The Director of Overseas Operations Visits IPSOTSL

Brigadier M.W.S. Millagala RWP RSP USP Hdmc psc, Director of the Overseas Operations visited the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL) on 9 August 2024.

Upon arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Brigadier S.A. Hettige RSP psc, Commandant of IPSOTSL. During his visit, he planted a mango sapling and addressed the Pre-Deployment Contingent, emphasizing the significance of UN missions.

Following the address, the Commandant briefed on IPSOTSL’s current operations and future prospects. He then toured the camp peemises to review the training infrastructure and provided valuable guidance for enhancing the institute’s facilities. The visit concluded with an exchange of mementos.
