Major General A. W. C. B. B. Rajaguru, Director General Infantry inspected the 6th Gemunu Watch (GW) Battalion Training Programme at 58 Division Training School, Katukeliyawa on Wednesday (12).
During the visit ,Major General Rajaguru conducted a lecture on ‘Management and Leadership’ in order to enlighten the attendees.
18 Officers including Major General K. C. Gunawardene, General Officer Commanding, 58 Division, 582 Brigade Commander Brigadier W. P. A. K. Tilakarathna, Commanding Officer, 6 GW and more than 300 Other Ranks listened to the lecture.
During the sessions the former 582 Brigade Commander Brigadier L. A. N. S. Wanigasinghe briefed the gathering on the operations backed by 6 GW troops who joined humanitarian operations at the initial stages.
