A special scuba-diving training programme at Hikkaduwa International Diving School was offered to 10 differently able War Heroes, following an initiative taken by the Directorate of Rehabilitation in the Army.
Mr Shehan Pilapitiya, a pioneer in scuba-diving in Sri Lanka conducted the programme. Brigadier Thushan Senarathna, Director of Rehabilitation also participated in the training session.
