Major General Priyanka Fernando, Director General General Staff (DGGS) at the Army HQ called at the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) and met the Wanni Commander during a visit to the Wanni on Thursday (06) to supervise ammunition dumps, belonging the Central Arms and Ammunition Depot (CAAD).
During the visit to the Wanni Security Force HQ - Wanni, Major General Priyankara Fernando had a brief interaction with Major General Hemantha Bandara, Commander, Security Forces-Wanni pertaining to the security cover to ammunition storages and planned future constructions. Both of them had a close look at the ammunition storage inside the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni camp as well.
Brigadier Shantha Ranweera, Director Operation Army Headquarters and a few Senior Officers were associated with the visit to the Wanni.
