Major General G.M.N Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, Director General General Staff (DGGS) (Overlooking) and Quarter Master General (QMG) and Major General A.K Rajapaksa RSP, Master General Ordnance (MGO) made an official visit to Security Forces Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ -J) on 29 April 2024.
The visiting Senior Officers were warmly welcomed by Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF -J). After a while, DGGS and MGO participated in a conference at the SFHQ-J conference hall where most important practical matters and issues prevailing in under command formations were taken up for discussion and resolution. The conference culminated after presentation of mementos to the DGGS and MGO by the Commander, SF -J as symbols of appreciation.
Concluding the day’s proceedings, visiting Senior Officers penned down some complimentary notes in the visitors’ book.
General Officers Commanding of 51, 55 Infantry Division, Logistics Commander (Jaffna), Deputy General Officer Commanding of 52 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers and Officers participated in the event.
