Devi Balika Students Plant Saplings with Army Troops in Srinath Nagar

Troops of the 54 Division HQ under the supervision of their General Officer Commanding, Major General Subashana Weilkala, together with students at Colombo Devi Balika College and 542 Brigade troops organized a tree planting programme on Friday (14) in the general area of Srinath Nagar, Mannar.

The tree-planting project, launched with the blessings of Major General Rohitha Darmasiri, Commander, Security Forces -Wanni saw the group of 44 students, 02 teachers and 01 parent plant a total of 55 plants in the location to coincide with the Army-initiated tree planting programme.
