A group of designate Ambassadors still under training as a part of their familiarization programme, went to Kilinochchi area on Tuesday (6) and had a cordial meeting with the Kilinochchi Commander in order to learn more about development and welfare roles, being carried out by the troops.
Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Headquarters, Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) after welcoming them, presented a briefing to the visiting officials.
During their stay, these officials visited Nelum Piyasa auditorium, lecture hall and the popular ‘Harmony Center’ at Kilinochchi.
