Deputy Head of Mission, Switzerland Visits Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna)

Mr. Olivier Praz, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Switzerland to Sri Lanka and Maldives, paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) on 16 December 2024, with the objective of receiving an update on the Army's ongoing community projects.

Major General M.T.I Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commander of 1 Corps and Overlooking Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna), welcomed the delegation and delivered a briefing on the tasks performed by the military, with special focus on community relations projects, security, and other general matters of concern.

At the conclusion of the meeting, mementos were exchanged to mark the significance of the occasion, and Mr. Olivier Praz left his compliments in the visitors’ book. Staff Officers of the Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) were also present during the meeting.
