The Deputy Commandant of SLAVF Visits 2 (V) SLASC

Major General M.T.K.R. Silva KSP, the Deputy Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) paid a courtesy visit to the 2 (V) Sri Lanka Army Service Corps (SLASC), at Katunayake on 15 March 2024.

Visiting Deputy Commandant of SLAVF was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel R.A. Udaratage, the Commanding Officer of 2 (V) SLASC and troops greeted him in a Guard Turnout at the entrance.

During his official visit, the Deputy Commandant of SLAVF, planted a sapling and posed for a group photograph after the troop address. Also, he interacted with the troops during the All Ranks tea and penned down some complimentary remarks in the visitor’s book prior to his departure. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were also present at the event.
