Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army and Colonel Commandant of SLEME Visits 7 SLEME

The 7th Battalion of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) hosted a farewell for Major General S.P.A.I.M.B. Samarakoon Hdmc Lsc, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME), on 18 November 2024.

In accordance with military traditions, the visiting Deputy Chief of Staff was accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops of 7 SLEME. He then planted a sapling on the premises and addressed the troops of the battalion, recognizing their achievements and inspiring continued commitment to excellence. The visit concluded with a special lunch.
