Following arrangements made by Directorate of Rehabilitation on initiatives proposed by the Commander of the Army officers of the Directorate of Rehabilitation took a group of 30 dependent War Heroes residing at ‘Ragama Ranaviru Sevana’, ‘Abimansala I, II, III’ and ‘Athithidiya Mihindu Seth Medura’ on a day’s outing to the Army-managed Laya Leisure at Kukuleganga on August 10.
Directorate of Rehabilitation which has been entrusted the responsibility of the welfare of all War Heroes under rehabilitation facilitated their overnight stay at Laya Leisure after providing all possible comforts including leisure hobbies and other fun-making activities.
Those picnickers had the chance of riding boats, air pistol shooting, archery and so on during their stay at the hotel.
The same evening everyone was entertained to live musical show.
A team of medical and administrative panel accompanied the inmates.
