The outgoing Defence Attaché for Maldives, Colonel Ahmed Ghiyas on Friday (5) paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake at the Army Headquarters.
During his interaction with the Commander, the Defence Attaché recalled gestures of goodwill and expressed his gratitude to the Army for cordial relations. Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake appreciated his tenure of office here in Sri Lanka and awarded a memento to him.
