CSO Speaks to Troops in 3 SLSC

Upon assumption of office as the Chief Signal Officer (CSO) of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), Major General K.A.W. S Ratnayake ndu made his maiden visit to the 3 Sri Lanka Signal Corps Regiment Headquarters at Vasavilan, Palaly on 8th August 2023.

The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of the 3 Sri Lanka Signal Corps Lieutenant Colonel U.L.C.D Perera psc and a formal Guard Turnout, presented by 3 SLSC troops, saluted the Colonel Commandant upon his arrival at the 3 SLSC premises.

During the visit, the Colonel Commandant planted a mango sapling to mark his visit to the 3 SLSC and addressed Officers and Other Ranks of the unit explaining his vision for execution of Information and Communication Technological matters and administrative matters to ensure the smooth functioning of the duties.

Subsequently, the Commanding Officer conducted a formal briefing to the Colonel Commandant on Information and Communication technology matters and administrative matters of the unit.

The Deputy Centre Commandant at RHQ SLSC and Colonel Coordinator of the Office of the Chief Signal Officer also participated in the visit.
