Cornerstone Laid for One More New House for another Needy Family

The foundation stone laying for construction of one more new house for a needy family living in Kuttiwila, Kirindiwela was held on 09 May 2024 during a simple ceremony.

This programme was organized by the troops of 8 Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) on the instructions and supervision of the Commanding Officer. Philanthropists in the area made financial sponsorship for those constructions, to be done by 8 SLLI troops.

Colonel R.R De S Dharmawickrama RSP, the Commander of 141 Infantry Brigade, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer of 8 SLLI, Officers, Other Ranks and the beneficiary were present during the inaugural ceremony.
