Cornerstone Laid for One More New House for another Needy Family

The foundation stone laying for construction of one more new house for a needy family living in Palai Kolani, Maankulam was held on 28 March 2024 during a simple ceremony.

This programme was organized by the troops of 5 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) on the instructions and supervision of Commander, 642 Infantry Brigade. Villagers and businessmen in the area made financial sponsorship for those constructions, to be done by 5 (V) SLSR troops.

Brigadier G.P.P Kulathilake, the Deputy General Officer Commanding of the 64 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer of 5 (V) SLSR, Officers, Other Ranks and the beneficiary were present during the inaugural ceremony.
