Cornerstone Laid for New House for another Needy Family

A foundation stone laying ceremony was held to mark the construction of a new house for a needy family in Morawewa, Trincomalee on 01 August 2024 amidst religious rituals.

This programme was organized by the troops of 4 Armoured Regiment (AR) on the instructions and supervision of Major General P.A.M Peiris RSP USP psc, General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division. Mr and Mrs Prabath Perera, philanthropists based in Switzerland made financial sponsorship for those constructions, to be done by 4 AR troops.

The Commanding Officer of 4 AR, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of 4 AR attended the ceremony.
