Cornerstone Laid for a Needy Family in Viharamahadevipura

Troops of the 12 Infantry Division laid the foundation stone for a new house on 11 May 2024 for a needy family in Viharamahadevipura. The construction will be carried out by the troops of the 12 Gajaba Regiment (12 GR) with financial support from philanthropist Mr. G. Korathota, a resident in Pannipitiya.

Major General C.S. Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG, the General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
