Mr Shri Raakesh Natraj, Consul General of India to Sri Lanka in Jaffna called on Major General Swarna Bothota, Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J) on Thursday (Jan 19) at the Headquarters premises.
Mr Natraj and the delegation were warmly welcomed by Major General Swarna Bothota and accompanied to the Commander’s Office where they had an interaction session with the Jaffna Commander. Brigadier Dammika Karunapala, Brigadier General Staff, SF-J.
During the session, general matters to improve notions of reconciliations and ethnic harmony with a special focus on community-related projects were discussed.
The session followed refreshments and in compliance with the customary formalities, mementoes were exchanged as tokens of appreciation. Finally, the delegation and the Senior officers of the SF-J posed for a group photograph at the Headquarters premises.
