Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME), establishing its essential mechanical wings in the East, recently opened the new computerized wheel alignment and wheel balancing section at the 3 SLEME workshop in Minneriya.
Major General T.N Jayasuriya, Colonel Commandant, SLEME and Director General, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering as the Chief Guest at the invitation of the 3 SLEME Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel K.A.R.K Dias, commissioned the facility in the premises during a brief ceremony on Saturday (11).
With the opening of this section, a considerable sum of money that goes outside for wheel alignment and wheel balancing of all light vehicles in the Security Force Headquarters - East (SFHQ-E) in the region could be saved to the Army.
