Completion of Basic Swimming and Life Saving Course No. 20 at SFHQ-W

The passing-out ceremony of the ‘Basic Swimming and Life Saving Course No. 20’ took place at the Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) Swimming Pool Complex in Ranasewapura, Anuradhapura on 07 June 2024. Major General H.H.K.S.S Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, General Officer Commanding, 21 Infantry Division graced the event as the chief guest. The ceremony featured a life-saving demonstration and a swimming display by course participants.

Twenty-four male soldiers and one female soldier from various Regiments of the Sri Lanka Army enthusiastically completed the course. Infantrymen S.W.R.C Kumara Wehella was awarded the title of best student of the course.
