Community Welfare Programme Conducted by the 7th Light Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery

The troops of the 7th Light Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery, under the 231 Infantry Brigade, conducted a school aid distribution programme as part of civil-military coordination activities.

The event was held on 10th May 2025 at Thibirigaswewa Primary School and benefited 63 students with the generous financial sponsorship of Brigadier W.S.V Fernando USP ndc IG, Mrs. Sujani Fernando and their relatives.

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc and the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding the 23 Infantry Division the event concluded successfully at the venue.

The General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks attended the event.
