‘Hela Viru Rasa Udanaya’, the food festival of the Army, organized by the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) , now in progress at Kimbulawala, Battaramulla, had Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake as a surprise Guest on Friday (26) evening when the event was in full swing with a large crowd.
The surprise guest in the company of Major General U.A.B Medawela, Commander, SFHQ-West, the strength behind the implementation of this novel project visited all the stalls where different food varieties are prepared and sold to the visitors.
Lieutenant General Daya Ratnayake spoke to a couple of Army personnel and chefs engaged in the project with a view to learning more about those culinary practices.
